Gillion Theme installation via WordPress dashboard
Step 1 – Log in to your WordPress Installation
Step 2 – Navigate to Appearance > Themes
Step 3 – Click on Add New or Add New Theme
Step 4 – Click on Upload Theme
Step 5 – Click on Choose File, select “Gillion.zip” and click Install Now
Step 6 – When the upload is finished, click on the installed theme to Activate
Gillion Theme installation via FTP
Step 1 – Log in to your hosting server via FTP client (for example FileZilla)
Step 2 – Navigate to folder /wp-content/themes
Step 3 – Upload “Gillion.zip” extracted content
Step 4 – Log in to your WordPress Installation
Step 5 – Navigate to Appearance > Themes
Step 6 – Find the installed theme and click Activate
How To Import Gillion Theme Demo
The next step after successfully installing the Gillion theme could be our demo content installation. We have two installation methods – the legacy installation method (under Tools > Demo Content Install) and our new installation method (under Appearance > Import Demo Data). The main difference between the two is that our new installation method only adds content, but our legacy methods replace it.
New demo installation method (doesn’t replace site content like pages, posts, and images)
Step 1 – Make sure that the One Click Demo Install plugin is installed and activated (if it isn’t installed then you can install it under Appearance > Install Plugins):
Step 2 – Go to Appearance > Import Demo Data
Step 3 – Choose the demo you would like to have and press Install
Step 4 – Confirm installation
Step 5 – Wait until the demo is installed
